Kind Kyler Murray sounds like the forgiving type, even when it comes to being struck in the face by a fan at an opposing stadium.

While Las Vegas police are investigating the incident during Sunday’s game, when a fan struck Murray in the face following the Cardinals’ overtime victory over the Raiders, Murray said he has “no hard feelings.”

“If I see him, I’d shake his hand,” Murray said Wednesday. “It is what it is.

“I don’t know if he didn’t know where he was. It was a pretty live game. Vegas is Vegas.”

Murray was embracing another fan in the front row behind the endzone following the game-winning defensive score. Fan video angles shared via social media appear to show a male in the second row swing his open palm in the direction of Murray and making flush contact with the quarterback’s face.

“The Raiders are aware of the incident and are cooperating with the Las Vegas Metro Police Department on its investigation,” the Raiders said Sunday night.

Murray piloted the furious rally with 16 points in the fourth quarter to help the Cardinals force overtime and even their record at 1-1. But he said shifting focus quickly to the Los Angeles Rams is necessary. Coach Kliff Kingsbury concurred, especially where defensive tackle Aaron Donald is involved.

“Nobody has a plan for that. We just have to make sure he doesn’t wreck the game,” Kingsbury said.
