The Arizona Cardinals are shutting down wide receiver Marquise Brown for the season.

Head coach Jonathan Gannon said Friday that Brown will be placed on injured reserve with a heel injury.

Brown caught 51 passes for 574 yards and four touchdowns in 14 starts this season for the Cardinals (3-12).

The 2019 first-round pick has 313 catches for 3,644 yards and 28 TDs in 72 games (65 starts) with the Baltimore Ravens (2019-21) and Cardinals.

Brown, 26, earned $13.4 million this season on the fifth-year option of his rookie deal. He is due to become an unrestricted free agent in March.
