The Arizona Cardinals activated Andy Lee from the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday and released fellow punter Ryan Winslow from the practice squad.

Lee, 39, first joined the 49ers in 2004 and spent 11 seasons in San Francisco. He played one season each with the Cleveland Browns (2015) and Carolina Panthers (2016) before joining the Cardinals in 2017.

The three-time Po Bowl selection has averaged a net of 42.1 yards per punt this season while not missing a game until last week’s 22-16 loss to Indianapolis Colts.

The Cardinals also opened the practice window Wednesday for two linebackers on injured reserve: Tanner Vallejo and Ezekiel Turner.

Vallejo went on IR with a knee injury on Nov. 20. Turner has been on IR since Oct. 13 with a shoulder injury.
