NFL: Buccaneers waive RB Ke’Shawn Vaughn

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers waived fourth-year running back Ke’Shawn Vaughn on Friday.

Vaughn, 26, was the Bucs’ third-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

He played in only six games this season, rushing 24 times for 42 yards and no touchdowns.

Vaughn ran for 384 yards and two scores in 43 career games (one start), adding 14 catches for 81 yards and one TD.

He won a Super Bowl ring with Tampa Bay as a 2020 rookie and scored a touchdown in a wild-card playoff victory against the Philadelphia Eagles on Jan. 16, 2022.
