Cleveland Browns safety Rodney McLeod will miss the rest of the season with a biceps injury that will require surgery.

Browns coach Kevin Stefanski made the announcement Monday.

McLeod, 33, sustained the injury Sunday in the win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. He left the game in the second half and did not return.

The Browns signed McLeod in May. The veteran started five of 10 games this season, recording 24 tackles and one pass defensed.

McLeod has 18 career interceptions over 11-plus seasons with four teams. He has played in 166 games (143 starts) since signing with the then-St. Louis Rams as an undrafted free agent in 2012.

Stefanski also said linebacker Anthony Walker is week-to-week with a hamstring injury.
