Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is still bothered by the throat injury he sustained against the Green Bay Packers on Oct. 10.

Burrow didn’t participate in his Wednesday media availability for the second straight week due to lingering effects from the injury. According to the team, doctors advised Burrow to remain on voice rest due to the soreness.

“The doctors said he should rest a little bit more, so that’s what we’re going to do,” Bengals coach Zac Taylor said.

Burrow, a second-year pro, is expected to be fine for Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens.

Burrow played well in last Sunday’s 34-11 rout of the Detroit Lions. He passed for 271 yards, three touchdowns and one interception.

Overall, the 24-year-old Burrow has passed for 1,540 yards, 14 touchdowns and seven interceptions this season.

The Bengals (4-2) can move into a tie for first place in the AFC North if they defeat the Ravens (5-1).
