Chicago Bears coach Matt Nagy remains quarantined after testing positive for COVID-19 and will not be on the sideline against the San Francisco 49ers this weekend.

Special teams coordinator Chris Tabor will handle the head-coaching responsibilities for Sunday’s contest in Chicago. Tabor, who worked for the Bears from 2008-10 before returning to the club in 2018, ran practices this week at Halas Hall.

Tabor’s lone head coaching experience came in 2001 at Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Mo.

Nagy, who tested positive on Monday, is 31-24 in three-plus seasons as Bears head coach.
