Former Philadelphia Eagles pass rusher Josh Sweat agreed to a four-year, $76.4 million contract — including $41 million guaranteed — with the Arizona Cardinals, his agent told ESPN on Monday.

Sweat, 27, played a prominent role in the Eagles’ Super Bowl LIX win over the Kansas City Chiefs, notching 2.5 sacks and three QB hits to cap one of the best seasons of his career.

In 16 games (15 starts) in 2024, Sweat totaled eight sacks, 15 quarterback hits and 41 tackles (nine for loss) for the league’s top-rated defense.

Current Arizona head coach Jonathan Gannon was Sweat’s defensive coordinator in Philadelphia in 2021-22, when the Eagles’ 2018 fourth-round pick racked up a combined 18.5 sacks, including a career-high 11 in 2022, and made his lone Pro Bowl in 2021.

In 104 games (64 starts) over seven seasons with the Eagles, Sweat collected 43 sacks, 237 tackles (54 for loss) and 97 QB hits.
