NCAAF: Texas lands Alabama transfer TE Jahleel Billingsley

Former Alabama tight end Jahleel Billingsley announced on Instagram on Sunday that he will transfer to Texas.

A former four-star recruit from Chicago, Billingsley finished his junior season with 17 receptions for 256 yards and three touchdowns. He spent three seasons at Alabama and collected 37 catches for 559 yards and six touchdowns over 20 total games.

At Texas, he will join coach Steve Sarkisian, who was Alabama’s offensive coordinator in 2020.

Also Sunday, former Crimson Tide linebacker Drew Sanders announced he will transfer to Arkansas.
