NCAAF: Reports: Oregon State All-Pac-12 LB Omar Speights to transfer

Oregon State linebacker Omar Speights entered the transfer portal on Thursday, multiple reports said.

Speights, a team captain, led the Beavers last season with 83 tackles, including eight tackles for loss. He earned first-team All-Pac-12 honors.

In four seasons at Oregon State, Speights played in 45 games and amassed 308 tackles (25 for loss), five sacks, three interceptions and three fumble recoveries.

The Beavers went 10-3 in 2022 and finished the season ranked No. 17 in the AP Top 25 poll.
