Oregon State quarterback Chance Nolan will miss his third straight game on Saturday when the Beavers host Colorado as he hasn’t yet cleared concussion protocol, ESPN reported Friday.

Nolan was injured against Utah on Oct. 1.

Freshman Ben Gulbranson started the past two weeks and guided Oregon State (5-2, 2-2 Pac-12) to wins over Stanford and Washington State.

Gulbranson has passed for 616 yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions in four appearances this season.

Nolan has thrown for 939 yards, seven touchdowns and eight interceptions this season.

Last season, Nolan passed for 2,677 yards, 19 touchdowns and 10 interceptions while leading Oregon State (7-6) to its first bowl appearance since 2013. The Beavers lost 24-13 to Utah State in the LA Bowl.
