LSU quarterback Myles Brennan has entered the transfer portal.

Brennan has been beset by injuries since starting the first three games of the 2020 season. He sustained a torn abdominal muscle that ended his season and then broke his non-throwing arm this summer that required surgery.

Max Johnson, who replaced Brennan in 2020, has started all eight games for LSU this season.

Brennan is in his fifth year at LSU. He backed up Joe Burrow in 2019.

Brennan has 1,712 career passing yards with 13 touchdowns against six interceptions with the Tigers.

LSU head coach Ed Orgeron said Monday that Brennan was “teary-eyed” over the decision.
