The winner of this contest will play the North Texas-LSU victor in the fifth-place game on Sunday afternoon. The matchup between LSU and North Texas is scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m. ET on Friday.

Towson has competed in the Charleston Classic twice before in 2019 and 2015, in both cases losing its first two games before winning the seventh-place contest. Wake Forest is in it for just the second time, taking third place in 2016.
