Trayce Jackson-Davis led four Indiana scorers in double figures with 17 points and added 12 rebounds to lead the Hoosiers to a 64-56 win against Notre Dame on Saturday in the Crossroads Classic in Indianapolis.

Parker Stewart added 12 points and made 3 of 4 shots from 3-point range for the Hoosiers (9-2), who got 11 points each from Xavier Johnson and Race Thompson.

Notre Dame (4-5) was unable to replicate the magic of last week’s upset of Kentucky. Dane Goodwin led the Fighting Irish with 15 points, with Blake Wesley adding 14 and Paul Atkinson Jr. chipping in 11.

Indiana won the game at the 3-point line, shooting 40 percent (8 of 20), compared to 18.2 percent shooting for Notre Dame (4 of 22).

The Hoosiers also did a good job sharing the basketball with 16 assists on 21 made baskets. Rob Phinisee provided a lift off the bench for Indiana with six points, five assists and five rebounds.

Jackson-Davis posted his fourth double-double of the season. Indiana improved to 3-1 this season in those games.

Jackson-Davis scored 10 points in the first half, helping Indiana grab a 30-27 halftime lead.

Notre Dame led by as many as nine in the first half, going up 24-15 on a three-point play from Trey Wertz. But the Hoosiers responded with a 13-3 run, pulling ahead 28-27 on an inside basket by Jackson-Davis.

Another layup by Jackson-Davis with 1:10 left put Indiana up 30-27. Indiana held Notre Dame scoreless for the final 4:40 of the first half.

The Hoosiers led by as many as 10 points in the second half at 45-35. But with Indiana up 46-38, Notre Dame went on an 8-0 run, tying the score at 46-46 on a short Goodwin jumper.

Indiana played without freshman guard Tamar Bates, who was out of town due to a funeral.
