NCAAB: St. John’s transfer Posh Alexander commits to Butler

Former St. John’s guard Posh Alexander committed to Butler on Thursday.

He made the announcement on social media.

Alexander was by far the most decorated of the group of transfers to exit St. John’s after Rick Pitino was hired as coach.

He averaged 10.2 points, 4.2 assists, 3.9 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game in 30 games (28 starts) for St. John’s in the 2022-23 season.

Alexander averaged 11.7 points and 4.7 assists in 84 career games (77 starts) in three seasons for the Red Storm and was the Big East Defensive Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year in 2020-21.
