The game scheduled for Wednesday between Missouri and Mississippi State has been postponed because of COVID-19 issues within the Tigers program.

A make-up date has yet to be announced.

Missouri announced the cancellation because of “a combination of positive tests, contact tracing and subsequent quarantining of individuals within the Mizzou program.” The Tigers (6-7, 0-1 Southeastern Conference) were looking for their first conference win against Mississippi State (10-3, 1-0 SEC).

The next scheduled game for Missouri is Saturday at home against Alabama.

The Bulldogs also are scheduled to play next on Saturday, when they are set to visit in-state rival Ole Miss.
