Kobe Brown had 21 points, six rebounds and six assists as Missouri defeated Texas A&M 70-66 in Southeastern Conference play on Saturday in College Station, Texas.

Jarron Coleman scored 12 points and earned four assists for the Tigers (9-13, 3-6 SEC), who snapped their four-game losing streak. Ronnie DeGray III and Amari Davis each added 11.

Hayden Hefner scored a career-high 17 points for the Aggies (15-8, 4-6), who lost their six straight game. Quenton Jackson also scored 17 points and Henry Coleman III added 13.
Texas A&M has not won since Jan. 15, when it defeated Missouri 67-64 on the road.

Brown scored just seven points in that game against the Aggies and he had scored in double figures just once in his last seven games. But he took charge Saturday, scoring 13 points in the first half and sealing the victory with four points in the final 1:45.

Missouri broke out to a 13-9 lead with Coleman hitting pair of 3-pointers to get the Tigers started. Texas A&M responded with 3-pointers by Hefner and Jackson to pull even at 15-15.
With Brown scoring six points in span of 3:27, the Tigers used a 12-7 surge to move ahead 27-22.

The Tigers pushed their lead to 37-29 with DeGray III scoring inside on back-to-back possessions.

Coleman’s 3-point play with 40 seconds left in the half cut Texas A&M’s deficit to 37-32. The Aggies committed eight turnovers in the half, but stayed close with the help of six offensive rebounds.

Davis hit 3-point jump to expand Missouri’s lead to 46-38 with 15:25 left. The Aggies answered with a 17-7 rally, capped by dunks by Jackson and Hefner off steals, to move ahead 55-53 with 9:35 left

But the Aggies went cold, missing seven of eight shots down the stretch, and the Tigers seized control of the game.

Davis hit a bank shot as the shot clock expired with one minute left to put Missouri up 68-63.

Hefner answered with a 3-pointer with 46 seconds left, but Brown iced the game by hitting two free throws with 9.9 seconds left.
