Texas Tech won its second straight game, ninth of its past 10 and swept the season series with Oklahoma State.

Marchelus Avery’s 13 points led the Cowboys (12-13, 4-10) in the loss, their second straight and third in their past four games.

The Red Raiders took charge early on, building a 12-5 lead after a pair of free throws by McMillian at the 14:44 mark of the first half. Oklahoma State pared its deficit to three points before Texas Tech reeled off an 8-0 run that was capped by back-to-back 3-pointers from Anderson for a 20-9 advantage with 12:11 to play in the first half.
