Warriors Gaming Squad made NBA 2K League history on Saturday night, beating Celtics Crossover Gaming 3-0 to become the first team to ever win back-to-back 5v5 championships.

By winning The Tipoff and The Turn events earlier this season, the Warriors also became the first 2K League team to win all three titles in a single season.

Celtics Crossover Gaming was competitive in their first two games against Warriors Gaming Squad, falling 60-58 and 70-64. But it was all Warriors in what ended up being the final game, as the Celtics were on the wrong end of an 83-64 blowout.

The Warriors’ Charlie “CB13” Bostwick was named series MVP, polishing off his performance with a 15-point, 13-assist showing in Game 3.

Warriors Gaming Squad joined Wizards District Gaming (2020, 2021) as the only two-time 5v5 champions in the NBA 2K League, which began in 2018.

The NBA 2K League 5v5 playoffs, which featured a single-elimination bracket, began with six teams vying for portions of a $900,000 prize pool. All matches through the semifinals were best-of-three, while the finals on Saturday were best-of-five.
