NBA: Wizards’ Kristaps Porzingis (ankle) is week-to-week

Washington Wizards big man Kristaps Porzingis is week-to-week with a sprained left ankle, the team said Monday.

He was injured in the third quarter of Saturday’s 138-118 win against the visiting Orlando Magic.

Porzingis, 27, is averaging 22.1 points, 8.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.5 blocks through 41 starts this season.

The former All-Star has career averages of 19.2 points and 8.0 boards in 378 games (377 starts) with the New York Knicks, Dallas Mavericks and Wizards.
