The Portland Trail Blazers added assistant coaches Nate Bjorkgren and Chris Fleming to coach Chauncey Billups’ staff on Monday.

Bjorkgren, 49, has coached in the NBA since 2015 when he was hired as an assistant with the Phoenix Suns, followed by a stint with the Toronto Raptors. He served as the head coach of the Indiana Pacers in the 2020-21 season, then returned to the Raptors as an assistant.

He spent the 2023-24 season as a special assistant to the Blazers’ coaching staff.

Fleming, 54, is entering his 10th season as an NBA coach following 14 seasons in Germany. He began with the Denver Nuggets in the 2015-16 season, then moved on to the Brooklyn Nets. He spent the past five seasons as an assistant coach with the Chicago Bulls.
