NBA: Suns sign former first-round pick TyTy Washington

The Phoenix Suns signed former first-round draft pick TyTy Washington to a two-way contract on Friday.

Terms were not disclosed for the 22-year-old guard, picked 29th overall in 2022 by the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Phoenix-area native averaged 21.3 points and 8.3 assists and shot 42.6 percent from 3-point range in the G League last season with the Wisconsin Herd.

Washington has 42 games (two starts) of NBA experience, averaging 3.8 points in 11.6 minutes with the Houston Rockets (2022-23) and Milwaukee Bucks (2023-24).
