The Phoenix Suns announced on Saturday that Devin Booker will be out the next two games with left groin soreness.

The Suns will be without Booker for Saturday’s home game against Detroit as well as Monday’s contest at Denver.

They will be the first games Booker has missed this season.

The four-time All-Star guard sat out practice on Friday after enduring the injury in a 120-111 home loss to Indiana Thursday night.

He left the game in the third quarter after amassing 17 points and six assists in 25 minutes.

Booker, 28, is averaging 25.1 points and 6.4 assists per game over 26 contests this season. Those numbers are better than his career averages in each category (24.3 ppg, 5.1 apg).
