NBA: Suns’ Devin Booker exits in third quarter vs. Pacers

Phoenix guard Devin Booker exited the Suns’ Thursday home game against the Indiana Pacers due to groin tightness, and he didn’t return.

After the Suns’ 120-111 loss, Phoenix coach Mike Budenholzer said merely that Booker didn’t know exactly when the problem occurred. There was no immediate word on whether the four-time All-Star would miss additional action.

Booker departed with 5:18 left in the third quarter and was examined in the locker room.

Booker had 17 points and six assists in 25 minutes. He made 5 of 10 field-goal attempts.

Through 26 games this season, Booker is averaging of 25.1 points, 6.4 assists and 3.7 rebounds per contest.
