Free agent forward Kevin Knox has agreed to a one-year deal with the Golden State Warriors, multiple outlets reported on Wednesday.

Knox will compete for a roster spot during training camp. He averaged 17.5 points and 8.5 rebounds in four Summer League games for Golden State.

Knox was a first-round draft choice (ninth overall) by the New York Knicks in 2018 and spent three-plus seasons with New York before bouncing around the league. He also has spent time with the Atlanta Hawks, Portland Trail Blazers and Detroit Pistons.

Knox, 25, has career averages of 7.4 points and 2.9 rebounds in 306 games (77 starts) in six seasons. He played one season of college basketball at Kentucky.
