The 2021 NBA champion Milwaukee Bucks will visit the White House and President Joe Biden on Nov. 8, ESPN reported Saturday.

The Bucks defeated the Phoenix Suns in six games in July to capture their first title in 50 years.

Milwaukee has a day off between road games against the Washington Wizards on Nov. 7 and the Philadelphia 76ers on Nov. 9.

The Bucks will be the first NBA team to have a ceremony in Washington, D.C., since the 2016 champion Cleveland Cavaliers visited then-President Barack Obama.

The Golden State Warriors (2017, 2018) and Toronto Raptors (2019) did not go to the White House during Donald Trump’s time in office. COVID-19 pandemic-related travel complications kept the 2020 champion Los Angeles Lakers from making an appearance.
