Denver Nuggets star guard Jamal Murray is returning to action against the Houston Rockets on Wednesday night after missing 11 games with a right hamstring injury.

Murray, one of Denver’s main core from its 2022-23 championship team, last played on Nov. 4 against the Chicago Bulls.

Murray also dealt with hamstring issues during training camp in October.

Denver went 6-5 during Murray’s absence. The Nuggets are 6-1 with Murray.

Murray, 26, is averaging 16.3 points and 7.4 assists this season.

In the playoffs last season, Murray averaged 26.1 points, 7.1 assists and 5.7 rebounds, while teaming with two-time MVP Nikola Jokic to lead Denver to its first NBA title.

The Nuggets also said that Jokic (back) would return after a one-game absence. He is averaging 28.8 points, 13.4 rebounds and 8.9 assists in 17 games.
