Brooklyn Nets star James Harden was a late scratch ahead of Wednesday night’s game against the visiting Denver Nuggets with left hamstring tightness.

He was listed as questionable about an hour before tipoff and then ruled out 30 minutes later.

It’s the second of a back-to-back for the Nets, who lost to the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night. Harden posted a triple-double of 33 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists in 38 minutes against the Lakers.

Harden is averaging 23.0 points, 10.1 assists and 8.1 rebounds in 42 games.

The Nets will play the Nuggets without their big 3, as Kevin Durant (knee) remains out and Kyrie Irving isn’t allowed to play in Brooklyn due to being unvaccinated.
