NBA: Mavericks’ Luka Doncic (knee) ruled out vs. Thunder

Dallas Mavericks superstar guard Luka Doncic has been ruled out of Sunday’s game against the host Oklahoma City Thunder due to a right knee contusion.

Sunday’s contest is the latter half of a back-to-back set for the Mavericks. Doncic scored 16 points on 6-of-16 shooting from the floor in Dallas’ 110-93 victory over the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday.

Doncic, 25, is averaging 28.2 points, 7.8 rebounds and 7.8 assists in 13 games (all starts) this season.

A five-time First Team All-Pro selection, Doncic sports averages of 28.7 points, 8.7 rebounds and 8.3 assists in 413 career games (all starts) per contest.
