Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James has said he wants to play every game in his 22nd season, but he is listed as questionable for Friday’s road matchup against the Atlanta Hawks with left foot soreness.

James, who turns 40 on Dec. 30, has started all 22 games this season and is averaging 22.3 points, 9.0 assists and 7.9 rebounds.

In Wednesday’s 134-93 blowout loss to the host Miami Heat, James led the Lakers with 29 points on 12-of-18 shooting from the floor in 29 minutes.

Los Angeles’ last two losses have been by a combined 70 points, the franchise’s worst two-game combined margin of defeat.

Meanwhile, Atlanta has won a season-high five in a row, snapping Milwaukee’s seven-game win streak on Wednesday.

Against the Hawks, the Lakers won’t have the services of Austin Reaves (left pelvic contusion), who will sit out his fourth straight game.

In 19 games this season, the fourth-year player is averaging a career-high 16.7 points along with 4.8 assists and 3.5 rebounds.
