NBA: Lakers’ LeBron James, Anthony Davis out vs. Celtics

Los Angeles Lakers stars LeBron James and Anthony Davis have been ruled out for Thursday’s game against the host Boston Celtics.

James is sidelined by a left ankle injury, while Davis is out due to bilateral Achilles tendinopathy and a left hip spasm.

The NBA’s all-time leading scorer, the 39-year-old James is averaging 24.9 points, 7.7 assists and 7.5 rebounds in 44 games this season.

Davis, 30, is averaging 24.9 points, 12.1 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 2.3 blocked shots in 46 games this season.
