De’Aaron Fox buried five of his team’s 25 3-pointers, Domantas Sabonis missed a triple-double by one assist and the Sacramento Kings got double-figure scoring from four other players in a 131-118 home triumph over the Brooklyn Nets on Monday night.

Fox finished with a game-high 29 points to go with eight assists, while Sabonis collected 15 points, a game-high 16 rebounds and nine assists for the Kings, who won for the fifth time in their past seven games.

Mikal Bridges had a team-high 22 points for the Nets, whose three-game win streak ended on the opening night of a five-game road trip.

After the teams combined for 81 points in an entertaining third quarter, the Nets were down by 13 before chipping away. They got within six on two occasions, the final time at 110-104 with still 6:04 to go on Bridges’ 3-pointer.

But Harrison Barnes countered with a pair of 3-pointers in an 11-point flurry that blew the game open at 121-104 with 4:06 left.

Sacramento’s Trey Lyles hit five three-pointers and finished with 17 points. Keegan Murray (24 points) and Malik Monk (21 points) had four apiece from beyond the arc and Barnes (14 points) added three more for the Kings, who shot 55.6 percent (25-for-45) from long distance.

The Kings connected on 51.1 percent of their shots overall.

Monk matched Sabonis’ assist total with nine as they combined with Fox for 26 of the club’s 38.

Cam Thomas scored 20 points and Spencer Dinwiddie had 16 for Brooklyn, which lost despite shooting 47.7 percent overall and 48.3 percent on 3-point attempts. Dinwiddie also had a team-high eight assists.

Cam Johnson chipped in with 15 points and Dorian Finney-Smith scored 13 for the Nets, while Nic Claxton grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds to go with eight points and three blocks.

Bridges, Johnson and Finney-Smith each had three 3-pointers. The Nets were 14-for-29 from deep.
