The Memphis Grizzlies expect to be without power forward Brandon Clarke for the rest of the season because of a right knee sprain, the team announced on Saturday night.

Clarke, 28, sustained a high-grade PCL sprain when he fell in the first quarter of the 115-99 loss Wednesday at the Portland Trail Blazers, the Grizzlies said.

Memphis (43-28) entered Saturday fifth in the Western Conference standings.

Clarke is averaging 8.3 points, 5.1 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 18.9 minutes while shooting 62.1 percent from the field in 64 games (18 starts) this season.

He averages 10.2 points for his career with 5.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 20.8 minutes in 307 regular-season games (48 starts) in parts of six seasons with Memphis.

The Oklahoma City Thunder selected Clarke 21st overall in the 2019 NBA Draft and traded him the same summer to the Grizzlies. He was voted to the NBA All-Rookie first team that season.
