Boston Celtics guard Jaylen Brown has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the visiting Memphis Grizzlies due to low back tightness, the team announced.

Brown scored just eight points on 4-of-12 shooting from the floor in Boston’s 114-105 setback to the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday. He also had eight rebounds and seven assists.

Brown, 27, is averaging 22.3 points, 5.4 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 46 games (all starts) this season.

He is contributing 18.3 points, 5.2 boards and 2.4 assists in 516 career games (409 starts) since being selected by the Celtics with the third overall pick of the 2016 NBA Draft.
