NBA: Bucks’ Jrue Holiday (ankle) returns to action vs. Knicks

After missing the last five games with an ankle injury, Milwaukee Bucks head coach Mike Budenholzer told reporters Jrue Holiday was expected to be available for Friday’s game against the New York Knicks.

Holiday last played on Oct. 23 against the San Antonio Spurs and has averaged 14.0 points and 3.0 assists in two games played this season.

A starting guard for the Bucks last season en route to their NBA title, Holiday played in 59 games (56 starts) and averaged 17.7 points and 6.1 assists.

The Bucks are off to a 4-4 start in the new season. They remain without forward Khris Middleton, who tested positive for COVID-19.
