NBA: Bucks’ Bobby Portis (knee, ankle) out at least 2 weeks

Milwaukee Bucks forward Bobby Portis will be re-evaluated in two weeks as he deals with an MCL sprain in his right knee and a right ankle sprain, the team announced Wednesday.

Portis has been ruled out for Wednesday night’s game against the visiting Denver Nuggets.

He left Monday night’s 150-130 win against Detroit early in the fourth quarter.

Portis, 27, recorded his 29th double-double of the season with 18 points and 10 rebounds against the Pistons.

He is averaging 14.4 points and a career-high 10.1 rebounds in 47 games (14 starts) in his eighth NBA season.

Portis missed seven weeks with the same injury during the 2018-19 season with the Chicago Bulls.
