The Philadelphia 76ers, who are dealing with numerous injured players including nine-time All-Star Paul George, signed fellow forward Oshae Brissett to a 10-day contract on Friday.

Brissett averaged 12.1 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.2 steals over 11 games with the Long Island Nets of the G League.

George is contemplating a medical procedure for groin and knee injuries, ESPN reported Thursday. A decision on how to handle multiple injuries could come by early next week, according to the report.

Brissett, 26, played in 55 regular-season games (one start) for the NBA champion Boston Celtics last season. He averaged 3.7 points, 2.9 rebounds and 11.5 minutes per game. He also played in 10 playoff games and averaged 1.6 points, 1.4 rebounds and 5.5 minutes.

Brissett has averaged 6.5 points, 3.9 rebounds and 17.3 minutes in 227 career games (44 starts) for the Toronto Raptors (2019-20), Indiana Pacers (2020-23) and Celtics. He averaged 10.9 points and 5.5 rebounds in 21 games (16 starts) for the Pacers during the 2020-21 season.
