Toronto FC signed defender Kadin Chung through the 2023 season on Wednesday.
Financial terms were not disclosed by the team, however it revealed Chung’s contract has options for both the 2024 and 2025 campaigns.
“Kadin has had a good preseason and has earned a spot on our roster,” Toronto FC head coach and sporting director Bob Bradley said. “He’s coming off a very good season in the (Canadian Premier League) with Pacific FC, and we think Kadin is going to continue to improve and give us some depth at the right back position.”
Chung, 23, recorded one goal and one assist in 26 appearances last season with Pacific FC. The British Columbia native added an assist in three appearances in the Canadian Championship.
