Raul Ruidiaz will not return to the Seattle Sounders, where he is the all-time leading goal-scorer.

Ruidiaz, 34, has scored 86 goals for Seattle across all competitions, including eight in the 2024 regular season. The Peruvian forward was out of contract at the end of the season, and the Sounders confirmed Wednesday that he would not return to the club.

The Sounders’ season came to a close last weekend when they fell 1-0 to the Los Angeles Galaxy in the Western Conference final.

Seattle exercised options on midfielder Reed Baker-Whiting, defender Jon Bell, keeper Jacob Castro, winger Leo Chu, forward Braudilio Rodrigues and forward Paul Rothrock.
