MLS: Red Bulls D Dylan Nealis out after core muscle surgery

New York Red Bulls defender Dylan Nealis is sidelined indefinitely following core muscle surgery.

Nealis, 24, had the procedure on July 7 and will be re-evaluated in the coming weeks, the team said Friday.

The New York native has played 899 minutes in 13 MLS matches (10 starts) this season.

He has four assists in 64 career matches (42 starts) with Inter Miami CF (2020), Nashville SC (2021) and the New York Red Bulls.
