Orlando City will look to sweep the season series against New England when they play host to the Revolution on Saturday.

Orlando (10-10-7, 37 points) topped New England 3-1 in the only other meeting between the clubs on July 13.

“We have a good memory of the game that we played in Boston,” said Orlando head coach Oscar Pareja. “I thought we had a very good game. It’s a good foundation to build our game plan and strategy. It’s good context for us.”

Entering Saturday’s action, Orlando sits above the playoff line in the Eastern Conference table in seventh place, 10 points up on the 12th-place Revs and have points in six of their last seven MLS matches (5-1-1).

Forward Facundo Torres has paced Orlando this season with a team-high 10 goals as well as five assists in 25 matches. Duncan McGuire has seven goals and three assists in 21 outings.

New England (8-15-3, 27 points) will be without head coach Caleb Porter when the Revolution travel to Orlando. On Tuesday, Porter was fined $20,000 and suspended one match for his post-match comments on the officiating following the 2-2 draw against St. Louis.

The Revs have points in three of four matches (1-1-2) entering Saturday’s contest and are five points back of D.C. United for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

“Our mindset is to go on the road to Orlando and take a result, to take three points,” said Porter. “We know it won’t be easy. They’re a good team, but our guys trained really hard, and they definitely have an edge and a chip on their shoulder to make up for the last game.”

Striker Giacomo Vrioni leads the Revs with nine goals and has one assist in 23 matches, while midfielder Carles Gil has six goals and a team-high eight assists in 20 appearances for New England this season.
