MLS: NYCFC adds F Gabriel Segal off waivers

New York City FC claimed Stanford product Gabriel Segal off waivers Tuesday.

The 21-year-old Washington, D.C. native last was property of FC Koln in Germany’s Bundesliga and had to be added via waivers since he played at the college level.

In 12 games with the FC Koln reserve squad, Segal had one assist in 12 games. In 54 games during his time at Stanford, he had 14 goals and five assists. He also participated with the U.S. youth national team.
