MLB: Yankees send rookie LHP Josh Maciejewski to Triple-A

The New York Yankees sent rookie left-hander Josh Maciejewski outright to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Friday.

Maciejewski, 29, made his major league debut on April 8. He made four relief appearances and sported a 2.57 ERA with four hits, two runs, two walks and seven strikeouts in seven innings.

He is 1-5 with a 6.25 ERA, 24 walks and 60 strikeouts in 59 innings over 23 games (10 starts) for the Yankees’ Triple-A and Double-A affiliates this season.

The Yankees selected Maciejewski in the 10th round of the 2018 MLB Draft.
