The Chicago White Sox placed right-handed pitchers Dylan Cease and Kendall Graveman on the restricted list Monday ahead of the team’s three-game series in Toronto starting on Tuesday night.

The Canadian government requires visitors to be fully vaccinated to enter the country. People are required to have received a second COVID-19 dose at least 14 days before entering the country.

Cease started for the White Sox against the Chicago Cubs on Sunday and wouldn’t have pitched against the Blue Jays. He is 4-2 for the season, with a 3.69 ERA and 76 strikeouts in 53 2/3 innings.

Graveman is one of the White Sox’ top relievers with a 1-1 record, a 2.78 ERA and 19 strikeouts in 22 2/3 innings this season. He has two saves and 10 holds.

In other roster moves Monday, the White Sox put left-handed pitcher Dallas Keuchel on waivers for the purpose of granting his unconditional release, and they recalled right-hander Kyle Crick from Triple-A Charlotte.

Keuchel went 2-5 for Chicago, with a 7.88 ERA. Crick has gone 1-0 for the team, with a 5.14 ERA in eight games.
