MLB: Twins reinstate RHP Brock Stewart from 60-day IL

The Minnesota Twins reinstated relief pitcher Brock Stewart from the 60-day injured list on Wednesday.

The 32-year-old right-hander has missed the Twins’ past 70 games with tendinitis in his pitching shoulder.

Stewart posted a 0.68 ERA with no decisions and seven holds in 13 relief appearances before the injury.

He is 8-3 with a 4.54 ERA and two saves in 87 career games (11 starts) with the Los Angeles Dodgers, Toronto Blue Jays and Twins.

The Twins also recalled right-hander David Festa from Triple-A St. Paul, optioned right-hander Ronny Henriquez to St. Paul and designated infielder Diego Castillo for release or assignment.
