The Minnesota Twins reinstated outfielder Max Kepler from the 10-day injured list on Saturday.

Kepler, 30, missed the Twins’ last 10 games with right patellar tendinitis.

He went 2-for-16 with a home run in four games prior to landing on the injured list on April 8.

Kepler is in his ninth season with Minnesota and is a career .232 hitter with 130 homers and 401 RBIs.

To make room on the 26-man roster, the Twins optioned outfielder Matt Wallner to Triple-A St. Paul.

Wallner, 25, played in six games, going 0-for-8 with one walk and one run scored.
