MLB: Royals-Cardinals rained out, doubleheader Wednesday

The St. Louis Cardinals postponed Tuesday night’s game with the visiting Kansas City Royals due to inclement weather.

The contest will be made up Wednesday with a split doubleheader at Busch Stadium, with the first game starting at 12:45 p.m. CT and the nightcap at 6:45 p.m. CT.

The Cardinals (48-42) have won two straight and four of their last five games. The Royals (49-43) have dropped four of their last five.

This is a two-game interleague series, with both teams scheduled for a day off on Thursday.
