Veteran left-hander Dallas Keuchel, who won the American League Cy Young Award in 2015, was traded from the Seattle Mariners to the Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday in exchange for cash considerations, per multiple media reports.

Keuchel, 36, was 7-4 with a 3.93 ERA at Triple-A Tacoma after signing a minor league deal with the Mariners in May.

The Brewers have been hit hard by starting pitcher injuries, including prospect Robert Gasser, who recently opted for season-ending Tommy John surgery.

Keuchel was a two-time All-Star and won four of his five Gold Gloves with the Houston Astros, who drafted him in the seventh round in 2009. In seven seasons, he went 76-63 with a 3.66 ERA in 192 games (183 starts) and helped Houston win the 2017 World Series.

Over parts of 12 seasons, Keuchel is 103-92 with a 4.02 ERA in 278 games (263 starts) with the Astros, Atlanta Braves, Chicago White Sox, Arizona Diamondbacks, Texas Rangers and Minnesota Twins.
