The Los Angeles Angels have re-signed right-handed closer Raisel Iglesias to a four-year, $58 million contract, multiple outlets reported.

The 31-year-old free agent went 7-5 with a 2.57 ERA and 34 saves in 65 relief outings for the Angeles last season, striking out 103 batters in 70 innings. He led the American League with 59 games finished.

Iglesias played his first six seasons with the Cincinnati Reds and owns a career record of 25-37 with 140 saves and a 3.06 ERA in 339 games (21 starts). He has fanned 582 batters in 481 2/3 innings.

Los Angeles acquired Iglesias from Cincinnati in a December 2020 trade for right-hander Noe Ramirez and minor league infielder/outfielder Leonardo Rivas.
