MLB: Reds DFA infielder Jason Vosler

The Cincinnati Reds designated infielder Jason Vosler for assignment on Monday and selected the contract of outfielder Henry Ramos from Triple-A Louisville.

Vosler, 29, was batting .161 with three home runs and 10 RBIs in 20 games (15 starts) this season. He signed a minor league deal with the club in the offseason and made the Opening Day roster. His three HRs came in his first 15 plate appearances of the season.

Ramos, 31, last appeared in a major league game in 2021 with Arizona, batting .200 in 18 games (11 starts). He’s batting .314 with two home runs and seven RBIs in 11 games at Louisville this season.
